Two FREE mp3 downloads!
The P:O:B song "Promises"
is featured on the Fireworks Magazine CD sampler in issue 31
(March/April 2008). Two songs are also available for FREE download
on the Fireworks Magazine showcase on melodicrock.com. "Promises"
is a catchy and straight forward song that was on the local
radio charts this summer, while "The Other Side" shows
a more heavy and progressive side of the band. Get the songs

Hi everyone! The show at Smuget
in Oslo was great! Thanks for being there. The setlist was pretty
similar to the ones before, but this time we did "Crossing
Over" live for the first time - with extended guitar and
keyboard solos at the end. We will post some photos from the
show later.

The new release date for the
album "Crossing Over" in Norway is June 4. The album
will be distributed by Mudi
Musikkdistribusjon.
The release party is still taking
place on May 18 at Lille Byscenen in Haugesund.
P:O:B will also play on the Rockfest
festival in Haugesund on June 15.

P:O:B will host a release party
celebrating the release of "Crossing Over" at Lille
Byscenen in Haugesund on May 18th. There will be a P:O:B live
show and a music quiz presented by the band members.

03.03.2007:
The first full length P:O:B
album "Crossing Over" will be released in Norway by
FishFarm Records on May 19. 2007.

20.01.2007:
The details surrounding the
release of "Crossing Over" are still being sorted
out. In the meantime, there's a new song called "The Altar
of Love" available for listening at myspace

We have started writing songs
for another album. Song titles include Coming Home, The Green
Fairy, All I Have and Libido Ride.

22.11.2006:
The album has now been mastered
and it sounds great! Mika Jussila has done a great job. We are
now working to get a licencing deal. The
cover concept is also in the making.

06.10.2006:
The mix is finished and, even
better, has been sent to Mika Jussila at (Masterplan, Nightwish)
for mastering.
And now a pre-master of the song
"Promises" can be heard on myspace.

Album update: We're back from Sweden
after going through the final mixes with Daniel Flores. He has
done a great job and really brought out the best of the recordings!
Just a few minor details needs to be adjusted before the album
will be sent to mastering...

19.07.2006:
Album update: Daniel Flores started
mixing the album in Sound vs. Science Studios this week.

20.06.2006:
Studio update: It's been a long
ride but now every note of the first full length album has finally
been recorded.
The basic tracks have been laid
down by bass player Rudolf Fredly and no more than three different
drummers: Harald Levang, Vegard Fossum and Daniel
Flores.
The album also features a number
of guest players:
Guitar player Daniel
Palmqvist delivers a great guitar solo on "The Other Side"and
acoustic guitars on the closing number "Out of the Rain".
Paul Hansen from Cortina
is sharing vocal duties with Johannes on the chorus of the piano
ballad "How Much More Than a Dream".
The album also hold string performances
by Thomas Nilsson and Kjetil Lundø, on chello and double bass
respectively.
Being both excellent musicians
and friends of the band they've all added to the right vibe
of the album.
We're also happy to announce
that drummer/producer Daniel
Flores will mix the album in his Sound vs. Science Studios
in Stockholm, Sweden this summer.

Studio update: Torfinn has now
recorded all his guitars for the album, except for "Promises"
that has been re-written and needs new basic tracks as well.
Vegard Fossum will play drums on the new version of the song.
The Swedish guitar virtuoso Daniel
Palmqvist is a friend of the band and will play a guest solo
on "The Other Side". He is currently recording his
first solo album called "A Landscape Made From Dreams"
with Daniel Flores in SOUND vs. SCIENCE Studios. Check out his

Studio update: Rudolf has tracked
all his bass parts, while rhythm guitars and vocals have been
done on eigth out of twelve songs. The
album, tentatively called "The Final Monologue", will
be sent for mixing on March 20th.

26.11.2005:
Studio update: Due to scheduling
problems drummer Harald Levang was not able to record the rest
of the album in the near future. The drums for the songs have
now been recorded by the Swedish drummer/producer Daniel Flores
(Mind's Eye/Xsavior) in SOUND vs. SCIENCE Studios in Stockholm,
Sweden. Rudolf is now ready to record his bass parts for these
songs.
Also, great reviews of the "The
seocnd monologue" are still coming in. Six more have been
added to the reviews section.

Recording update: The band is
done recording Father & Son, The Garden and World of Things,

where, when and who have not been decided yet. Three new songs

Finally another date for the
first recordings has been set: May 7th. The plan is to record
the basic tracks of Father & Son, The Garden and World of
Things.

The recording session was once
again delayed. The band will hopefully start recording in February.
All the songs for the album have now been written. Nine
songs have been completely pre-produced, with three remaining
to be arranged.

The sessions at Lydloftet
have been postponed a few weeks. They are now scheduled in mid-November.

Pedestrians of Blue has been
busy writting and pre-producing material for a long time and
now they are finally ready to begin the first official recordings
of the upcoming album. The first sessions are scheduled at Lydloftet
Studio in the end of October.
