P:O:B (Pedestrians of Blue) is a melodic and progressive hardrock band coming from Haugesund in Norway. They have developed a unique style mixing modern grooves with the sounds of classic bands like Queensrÿche, Black Sabbath, Dream Theater and Toto.

The band has recorded a demo and an EP which both received great reviews and spawned interest from various record companies around the world. The band however decided to finish their first full-length album without signing to anyone - and now the first full length album has been released in Norway on their own FishFarm label. The official release date of "Crossing Over" in Norway was June 4. and the album is being distributed by Mudi Musikkdistribusjon.

"Crossing Over" was produced by the founding band members Torfinn Sirnes (guitars) and Johannes Støle (vocals) and was mixed by Daniel Flores (Mind's Eye) and mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Masterplan). The album tells the story of young man's struggle between family, love and religion - and takes the listener on a varied musical journey - from the heavy opener "Father & Son"and the more straightforward "Promises" to the epic and progressive closing number "Out of the Rain".

P:O:B hosted a successful release party in Haugesund May 18. 2007 and had another great second live gig at the Rockfest festival in their hometown on June 16.
